Ok, her room is all done...now we just need HER!!

And here is her Bathroom....

We cant wait to see our sweet girl jumping on her bed, playing with her dolls and splashing in her tub.....SOON......She will be HOME!!!

Adoption Timeline

Early February 2012-Submit initial application to adoption agency

Mid-February 2012-formally approved by agency

March 6 2012-complete health physicals for both

begin ordering certified bc/mc's

March 10 2012-First homestudy meeting with Social Worker

March 25 2012-Second HS meeting

April 16 2012- Third HS meeting

April 18 2012- Final HS meeting

April 23 2012-Complete 10 hrs of parent training/each

May 4 2012-Agency approves HS report, mails to DSS

June 4 2012-DSS approves HS report,mails to USCIS

June 19 2012-Biometrics fingerprints scanned in Charleston,SC

July 19 2012-I800A approved by USCIS

July 24,2012-797 State certified

July 26,2012-Agency mails off all dossier docs to courier in DC to begin authenticating at US Dept. of State and Embassy

Aug. 14, 2012-6 documents have to go BACK through Embassy for approval because of a "mistake" on the Embassy's part..cue the tears....

Aug.23,2012-all dossier documents arrive back at our agency for their final "critical review".

Aug.31,2012-DTC!!! Dossier is mailed to China!-(que the CELEBRATING!)

Sept.7,2012- Official Log-in Date with China. We are now waiting for "the call".

Oct.3,2012- THE CALL! We finally see our baby girl's face!

Oct.9,2012-Letter of Intent submitted (YES!! We want her!"

Dec.4,2012---LOA received at agency

Dec.19,2012---800 approved

Dec. 28,2012---PDF received from NVC

Jan.2, 2013----Article 5 drop-off

Jan.16, 2103---Article 5 pick-up/begin TA wait

Feb.1, 2013----Travel Approval!!!

Feb. 12, 2013----Leave for China!!
